Founded in February 2015, the Skills Acquisition Scheme (SAS) is a capacity building programme of the church aimed at imparting practical skills to people seeking gainful employment or an alternative source of income. It is driven by the church’s vision to teach people to enhance their productivity and maximize resource.
The programme is designed as a 12-week session comprising a productivity training seminar, theoretical classes and practical workshops. Registration and all classwork are free, however, trainees will be required to bring along their practice materials for practical classes.
All participants in the SAS programme are expected to take assessment examinations at the end of the training and will be awarded a certificate of participation in their area of study at the attainment of a minimum 75% score and the successful completion of the required coursework.

Course Objective
